On a cool October night, numerous years back, Old Man Lowry sat up trusting that his lone girl will return home. He was known to be defensive of his darling Rebecca. His significant other had died when birthing Rebecca and she was all the family he had on the planet. The night was still early and Mr. Lowry realized his little girl was fun out of a night at the congregation social, however the climate was turning bad and he was trusting his young lady was aware of the weather as much as she may be focusing on the youngsters at the social. As the possibility of lightning developed nearer, he watched the hill hoping to see his little girl driving the pony and cart home. Finally he saw her cart come past that certain point and headed out to assist her with taking care of the pony. Sadly, he saw by the flash of lightning that the cart was empty. He bounced onto the cart and ran back towards the congregation looking for his little girl. Most of the way there, he saw her lying on the side of the road. As he got off the cart and went to her side, he found that her head had been totally cut off. Rebecca Lowry was buried in the family graveyard close to where her body was found. It was accepted that in the tempest, she had been tossed from the cart and that the wheels had by one way or another beheaded her. The most perplexing aspect of the story is, her head was never found.
Presently, a long time later, several individuals have professed to see baffling lights wundering the hill. Most believe that, even after his passing, Rebecca's dad is as still looking for his little girl's head. Others state it is simply gas or something common. What ever it is, not many question that reality of the puzzling lights that appear to frequent Spook Light Hill.
